Respect Together, through our national division, the National Sexual Violence Resource Center (NSVRC) and state division, the Pennsylvania Coalition To Advance Respect (PCAR), has been proud to educate and spread awareness about the many dimensions of sexual violence over the past 50 years. When we began, we were determined to become an organization to which advocates, preventionists, survivors, and allies near and far could connect. Through launching a variety of projects, we have been able to do just that. One of our projects, the Respect Together Online Learning Campus, has proven to be useful, educational, and evergreen. We generally have over 10,000 enrolled participants at any given time, and many respondents have given us positive feedback about individual courses and the campus as a whole.
Wait…have you not used it yet? You haven’t even heard of it? Well, today that is going to change!
What Is It?
Respect Together’s Online Learning Campus is a central hub for education, skill-building, and professional growth. We’ve prioritized making our courses flexible and on-demand so that you can learn on your own timeline. Our courses are designed to support prevention and response efforts, with options catered to those new to the field as well as our highly-experienced colleagues and partners.
Learners can choose between free courses and paid certificate courses, depending on their goals.
Note: The difference between the two is that for the cost of $35 you will receive a certificate of completion for the course. This is a great option for professionals working to document their development efforts or add a certificate to their portfolio.
Is It Difficult to Get Started?
Not at all! It’s easy to create a free account to login to the campus to find descriptions of the courses offered and browse by topic.
In the upper righthand corner of the page, select the “Log In” button. From there, select “Create New Account.” That’ll take you to a one-page form to fill out your information and once it’s done, you’ll have your login information and be ready to enroll! It’s straightforward, simple, and fast by design, because we want you to get to your desired course as soon as possible!
